Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the cubed chicken with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and salt. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
- Prepare the Broccoli: In a separate bowl, toss the broccoli florets with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Make sure the broccoli is lightly coated, but not swimming in oil.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step is crucial for achieving that perfect crispy texture.
- Air Fry the Chicken and Broccoli: Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook in batches. Air fry for 8 minutes.
- Add the Broccoli: After 8 minutes, add the broccoli florets to the air fryer basket, spreading them around the chicken. Continue to air fry for another 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
