- 1.5 – 2 pounds chicken drumsticks (about 6–8 drumsticks)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or any oil with a high smoke point)
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add the drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat with the seasoning mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes (optional).
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the drumsticks rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
