Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken strips, buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Breadcrumb Mixture: In a shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, flour, Parmesan cheese (if using), and Italian seasoning.
- Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken strip in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray. Place chicken tenders in a single layer.
- Cook: Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F or 74°C).
- Serve: Let cool slightly and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
