1 pound Cod Fillets, skinless and boneless
1–2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, or to taste
Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
If using frozen cod, ensure it’s completely thawed. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish or ziplock bag. Pour the marinade over the cod, ensuring that both sides are evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
Place the marinated cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
The internal temperature of the cod should reach 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the cod fillets from the air fryer. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, and serve immediately.
