Total Time:22 minutes
Yield:2 servings 1x
Ingredients
Scale
1 pound halibut fillets, about 1 inch thick
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure a crispy exterior.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, fresh parsley, fresh thyme, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Place the halibut fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Gently rub the marinade into the fish, ensuring that it’s evenly coated. Let the halibut marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the marinated halibut fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be sure not to overcrowd the basket, as this can prevent the halibut from cooking evenly. If necessary, cook in batches.
Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the halibut is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove the halibut from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve immediately.
