- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, hot sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the breaded chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
