  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • Pat the catfish fillets dry with paper towels.
  • If fillets are large, cut into smaller pieces.
  • Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, salt, and pepper. Season catfish fillets evenly.
  • Set up a dredging station: flour, egg wash (egg and milk), cornmeal.
  • Dredge each fillet in flour, then egg wash, then cornmeal.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
