Dipping sauce of your choice (ketchup, spicy mayo, garlic aioli, honey mustard, avocado ranch)
Instructions
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes.
Cut the sweet potatoes into even-sized fries, about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes (or up to a few hours) to remove excess starch. Drain well and pat completely dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, toss the fries with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and any other desired spices.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each one. Cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking. They’re done when they’re golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
