- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 large lemon (zest and juice)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Slice thick breasts in half horizontally.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley (optional).
